Several types of braces are available for orthodontic treatment

- These are the most commonly used braces today. These braces
have significantly decreased in size over the years and have become
much smoother to the lips and cheeks. Of course for those bored
with silver need not fear. The wires are tied into the braces using
elastic ties and there are a tremendous number of different colors
available to decorate the braces in almost any way imaginable.

- Ceramic Braces
- The ceramic braces are clear and are less obvious than the metal
braces. While these braces can be used for any patient,
due to their more fragile nature they are generally used by adult
patients rather than children.
