With the indirect bonding technique the braces are first set up outside of the mouth on a duplicate cast of your teeth. This allows us to place the braces with much more accuracy and doesn't require any of your time in the chair. Transfer trays are adapted to the braces and cast as you see above and this transfer tray is used to move the braces from the cast to your teeth in the exact same positions. Additionally in the majority of cases we are able to place the braces without metal bands around the teeth. All of this adds up to a more positive patient experience. |
